TrainMon5 is committed to ensuring that any personal information you provide is kept confidential. No personally identifiable information you provide on this site will be shared with any other party without your prior approval unless required to do so by a lawful court order.

We reserve the right to release any of your membership information when required by a lawful court order and when we believe that a release of information is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with any lawful judicial proceedings or legal processes and to enforce this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to ensure protection of this website and its users.

Any information you provide on this site may be used to send you information regarding items of interest such as planned service outages, important system notices and newer features or services.

Your age, street address, city, state and email address will never be displayed on this website. Only your name and about me statement may be viewable by other members of TrainMon5. These details will not be publicly viewable to person(s) not registered to TrainMon5.

Updating Your Information

To update any of your personal information (except email addresses), please send an email to support with the requested changes.

Suspension of TrainMon5 Accounts

Accounts that have not been accessed for more than 1 year will automatically be suspended. Please make sure that you sign in at least once a year to maintain an active account status.

You may, at any time however, manually suspend access to your account. To do so, access the "Account Settings" page to suspend your account. Please note that suspended accounts cannot be re-enabled by you after you have suspended it. For an account to be re-enabled, you must contact TrainMon5 support for a request to re-establish access to your account. You will also be asked to provide a valid reason why you initially suspended your account and why you are requesting access to be re-enabled. If we determine your request for access (re-established or otherwise) was deemed fraudulent in nature, your account will be terminated immediately and you will not be allowed access to the services and features of TrainMon5 or its Group.io community.

Security of Your Information

The data transmitted is encrypted via an SSL Certificate using the HTTPS protocol. Your personal information is protected by an authentication system where you must supply a username and password to obtain access. This password is encrypted. The Terms of Service prohibit sharing your username and password with any other person to extend access to the services if they are not a registered member of this website, unless your are a parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a person under the age of 13. Your personal information is stored on a server that only authorized persons will have access to.

While great care is taken to ensure that data transmitted is safe by employing reasonable security measures, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefor TrainMon5 cannot be held responsible for the actions of 3rd parties that obtain any such information. Please note that no financial information or other personally identifiable information of any kind (except what is required upon registration) is stored by TrainMon5.

Data Tracking

This website may employ the use of analytics tracking using Google Analytics which is a service provided by Google Incorporated and/or its parent companies. This tracking tool is only used to perform service analysis to determine areas where efficiency can be improved. As a result, Google Analytics may perform extra steps that TrainMon5 does not control when it comes to analytics data tracking.
